Align´s X-ray Insights is a diagnostic support system for radiographic image data of the orofacial system. It uses Artificial Intelligence for the detection of pathologies and non-pathological structures. Deep learning techniques were applied to develop a series of artificial neural networks for classification, detection and segmentation purposes. The software supports the localization and classification of teeth, and the detection and documentation of pathologies as well as non-pathological structures. Align´s X-ray Insights combines clinical and epidemiological expertise in dentistry, machine learning and software engineering. Align´s X-ray Insights is intended to be used by dentists in a professional dental environment. Patients with a permanent dentition are investigated with the software.
Align´s X-ray Insights is under MDD regulation in the European Union, United Kingdom and in Switzerland.
Align™ X-ray Insights is cleared in Canada.
Align´s X-ray Insights is contraindicated for the assessment of:
Dental radiographs with supernumerary teeth
Dental radiographs showing primary dentition or a mix of primary and permanent dentition
Periodontal health, as it is not a replacement for measuring periodontal probing depth
Verify that the computer is connected to the internet (computer may not be connected to the local network or the network may not be connected to the internet).
- Possible reason: There may be no detections, which is why nothing is shown.
- Otherwise: Click Re-analyze to run the process again.
- If the issue persists: Use the Help icon and select Report problem, or contact technical support.
If the image loads incorrectly and is not easy to read, adjust the contrast or brightness using the “Image” button. To learn more, please use the “Help” icon and go to the “Navigation” tab.
If the image loads incorrectly and needs to be rotated or flipped or mirrored, use the “Rotate” or “Flip” button on the left. To learn more, please use the “Help” icon and go to the “Navigation” tab.
